The "POF Experiment"

It is no secret that I have a broken man picker.  My dating history has been quite colorful to say the least.  I have heard, seen, and experienced some amazing moments...both good and bad.  For instance, there was the guy who asked if I had ever thought about getting plastic surgery on my hands...because they were too wrinkly.  The night I woke up because I heard running water, and then quickly realized that it was my drunk boyfriend taking a piss on the bedroom floor.  Oh, and of course...the guy who broke up with me by calling 911 and telling them his girlfriend overdosed (long story, maybe I will tell it sometime).

So at age 33... with 1 unsuccessful marriage, and 3 serious relationships under my belt I have decided that it can't possibly hurt to give online dating a try! Right? So...I am starting what will be called the "POF Experiment."  I have created my very own account at www.plentyoffish.com (also known as POF).  I will attempt to meet and date as many eligible bachelors as I can in hopes of making a connection with Mr. Right.  Of course, these men must meet certain requirements as outlined below.

• They must be within 8-10 years of my age
• They must be a non-smoker
• They must be potty trained
• They must not ask when I plan to quit racing motorcycles
• They must be employed unless of course they hit the jackpot and don't have to work
• They must have arms of normal length
• They must not be currently married 
• They must have good teeth 
• They must be honest (please tell me when I am getting fat)
• They must be able to read, and write in complete sentences
• They should want to have at least one kid in the future
• An education beyond High School is preferred but not a must

Now that we have our guidelines established....let the "POF Experiment" begin!
